We look before we quote.

Footage is only evidence if you still have it.

Storage is sized to the retention period you actually need, so the incident from three weeks ago has not already been overwritten.

The layer underneath

A camera system is a network system.

Cameras draw power and carry video over the same structured cabling and switching that runs the rest of your building. When one company designs both, the cameras sit on their own segment, the switch has enough PoE budget, and nobody discovers a shortfall on install day.

How many cameras do we actually need?

Fewer than most quotes suggest, usually. The number follows from the site walk — what you need to see, at what detail, under what lighting. We would rather place four well than sell you twelve.

Can you work with cameras we already have?

Often yes, depending on age, resolution and whether the recorder supports them. We will tell you honestly when existing equipment is worth keeping and when replacing it costs less than working around it.

Which manufacturers do you install?

We specify recognised commercial manufacturers appropriate to the site, retention requirements and budget. We install and integrate professional equipment rather than manufacturing it, and we are not tied to selling one brand.

Can we view cameras remotely?

Yes, from phone or desktop. We configure access per person rather than a shared login, and the system is reachable without exposing the recorder directly to the internet.

Do you handle the cabling too?

Yes. Cabling, PoE switching and the network segment the cameras sit on are all part of the same job — see Network & Infrastructure. That is usually where camera projects go wrong when they are split between vendors.
